3.    What are the two issues protected by the state department?
answer : they are protect the health and safety of state citizens

4.    Who is the head of state and the head of government of the United States?
answer :  The head of state and the head of government of the United States is the President

5.    Name three things that the federal government can do but other levels cannot!
answer : The federal level of government is able to do some things the other levels cannot. It can print money, it can negotiate with other countries, and it can declare war on another country

1.    How many levels of government does Indonesia have? Mention each one of them
answer : Indonesia has two levels of government.
1) central government : consist of the president and vice president, ministers, and related institutions
2) local government : consist of The regional level includes:
a. The province, consists of governors and deputy governors who are assisted by the synagogues
b. Cities and districts are led by mayors and deputy mayors or regents and vice regents, assisted by offices, sub-district heads, village heads, and rw, rt or kadus.

3.    If you can choose one other province in Indonesia to live in, what province will you choose and why ? Describe from your study major perspective
answer : We chose East Java namely the Islamic university maulana malik ibrahim malang. Because there are tarbiyah faculty and teachers who have ips program. this university is our favorite because in maliki islamic university is a synthesis between university tradition and pesantren. There is a boarding school where all students must live in ma'had. in uin asked to master arab and english. So in addition to know science, in Arabic we can also know and can do a study of Islam through its source that is alqur an and hadith, and through English we can master the general and modern science. , as well as global communication tools


4.    With your group members, create a short presentation to explain about the differences between the U.S government and the Indonesia government.

  •     U.S is federal state, while Indonesia is a unitary state
  •     U.S The division of power between the federal and state governments, the highest authority in Indonesia is held by the people's representative council with the president's head of state
  •     U.S, the president is separated from the legislature, in Indonesia the president cooperates with the legislature
